Well, I’ve used Bob Ross and his soothing voice to help me sleep for years. I always wanted to try to paint along but I... 1) knew I lacked the talent, 2) wasn’t ready to take the plunge and spend the money on good art supplies (everything I have read said don’t skimp and buy the cheap stuff). Then I hurt my back, and COVID happened at the same time. So I found myself at home, only physically going into work a few hours a week. So I decided it was time to give it a go. I’ve never taken any art classes and at the time of writing this, have only completed four paintings (all Bob Ross paint alongs). I think I’m finding a new passion, so I’m going to continue to pursue this, and I look forward to hearing from other Bob Ross enthusiasts along their road to perfecting the happy little trees.
