Retired_and_Painting

I'm a retired police officer. I saw the worst...and...the best that humans can offer. Now it is time to debrief myself, take some deep breaths, relax, and enjoy life. I have been watching Bob Ross since he started on television. It always amazed me at how a painting can be done in less than half an hour. He helped the calm with his art style and soothing voice. It was therapy for that short half hour of the day. I could imagine myself just walking into his finished canvas, and living a quiet life in each of his paintings. Now I can enjoy his way of Wet-on-Wet, and fully immerse myself into another realm having no cares or worries in the world. I am excited to finally paint, meet new friends, and improve my skills. I am anxious to start making those mistakes and turn them into happy accidents!
