So overall, I like how this turned out. I just stuck to two puddles, because after making two of them, I was over it, lol. I added a few twigs here in there, scratching into the surface and put some leaves and highlight on the front tree because I saw he didn't do that.
Something I noticed about the black canvases, (I don't know if this is how it is for anyone else), but I noticed they take much longer to dry than the white canvases. I don't know if it's because more paint is used instead of the liquid white or what.
Really beautiful work!
Wonderful version Cindy!
Thank you all! I appreciate it. I'm just trekking along, every single painting, (in order), of each season. I'm happy to share this journey with everyone here. :)
This is lovely painting Cynthia, well done. From memory (it's been a long time since I've done a BR on black canvas with liquid clear, but they do take a bit longer to dry and I always put as little as possible on and dried them flat to minimise any gravity induced downward movement in the thicker paint. From memory, there are some comments on this in some of the older articles in the Forum. Cheers

Oh goodness. Love it. The trees and especially the background colors are so cool. Everything looks super!
