So this was a fun one to do, and a little bit of a challenge. It took longer than I expected. Overall, I'm happy with it. I would have made my back trees a little smaller and the front part, I had no idea what I was doing, lol. I decided to make just one pine tree and didn't include that last little tree in the front. I like how my mountain and water came out. And now I just realized on the left side bushes and whatnot, it looks like some old mean man's face, lol.
And with that, this concludes my season 4 journey. I'm going to take a little break and then start season 5 towards the end of November.
(An afternote: Cleaning up afterwards is SO much easier and quicker when you just use a palette knife and only have to clean ONE brush. THAT was awesome.)
Thank you! :)
This came out beautiful.
Great palette knife work!
Great job, this is a really fun one to do!
Really good knife work!
Thank you so much everyone! It was a really great way to end the season. I love how Bob encourages us to step out of our comfort zone. I never thought I could make nice landscape painting with just a palette knife.
Awesome texture, you nailed it. Love the mountain
Thank you!
You did an outstanding work with the knife Cynthia! It's not easy to do. I had a hard time with Bob's other only knife composition (Western Expanse). It's indeed really nice not having to continuously wash brushes thru out.
Thank you, Nin! And I had no idea he had everyone do another one with just the palette knife! I wonder how many of those there are...
