I'm going back through the Joy of Painting books I own to fill in the paintings I am missing, but most of them that are left seem to require a specialty canvas preparation (black gesso, oval, etc.). I didn't have a canvas prepped for today, but I found this one that just uses a thin, even coat of liquid white.
Great as usual, dracula. Your mountains have so many tiny details. Love 'em. 👍
Gorgeous! All you details are so good!
Beautiful Dracula. Fantastic detail throughout.
Love the sky! All around awesomely done Dracula.
I have to say, I hope some day to paint as well as you do. Your lights and darks are balanced, your contrast is correct, you do not over detail and your brush strokes and correct for looseness and detail. I see great depth in your work, correct horizon lines and focal points. How long have you been painting and besides Bob, who are your greatest influences?
