I guess I'd been painting about a year and a half when I painted this in a Bob Ross class that my wife and I would take together. Might try this one again sometime. Painting along with Bob is challenging, and I always feel like I'll never master that knife, but I really enjoy the hobby and am so glad I took it up.

Thank you! I always use that knife on mountain scenes, trying to get the feel of it. I showed this to a co-worker recently who is retiring in a few months. He really liked it, so I told him I'd bring it for his retirement gift.

You should be proud of this! You did a good job. I forget the episode, but there's one that Bob does the whole thing using only a knife (except getting the canvas wet). You might try that one to challenge yourself and get some practice with your knife.
