Started this creation with the wrong canvas (was ment for 'Northern lights') and grew from bad to worse.
Shit happens!
Canvas used was a recycled 16"x26".
I intended to do that yesterday but the missus stopped me.
While still wet, I'll have another discussion with her about this and hope to prevail this time!
The best in this whole creature ..... Creation, is the left cloud!
That is a really great cloud Voy! Sunnylady is right though, if you hate it, let it go. I think it looks pretty good, IMO. We are always our own worst critics, right?
Yes Heather, I did not had the heart today but tomorrow, I will get my double barrelled shotgun and do what a man's got to do!
As of today, this one has been erased. Canvas will be recycled soon for 'Northern lights'.
Looking forward to see the Northern lights! I hope I will do northern light painting one day as I like them quite a lot! That will be a challenge for me as I am not good with mountains, but I will see what I will get :)
Worth to try Sunnylady! Did you know that it is the most painted scenery of all here in the community? 'Aurora' from Bob looks similar yet is far less popular!
I did not! I checked both today but in fact did not pay attention to number of paintings submitted for each in particular. I also went to check the photos of real thing and got stuck there for good 10 min. I even came up with few ideas about paints to use. So I will be waiting you version! I am sure when this one has gone you will be more inspired!
Donβt be so hard on yourself. Your pines, mountains, bushes and reflections are looking good. π

Dont keep the one that upsets you. Erase and wipe with the rags and some paint thinner. It will remove everything to your black gesso. This is indeed great size for Northern lights.
