3x3 inch. This was my first major foray into the contact paper; I got one small bubble on the side which I will cover with acrylic once the painting is dry. Overall, not bad for my first attempt. The even smaller scale, I was basically working with a 2 1/2 inch workspace, required toothpicks instead of the make up palette knife, and a few other brush modifications.
