In this not very popular scene I replaced the oval with rounded corners and kept everything within the borders, the cabin had much room so I didn't need a shed, for the rest I followed Bob as much as possible with his black clouds, scratching in the truncs or paint them with liquid white and the many projections as Bob calls the pieces of land in the water, but I did it on canvas panel of 30 x 24 cm.

I think I prefer your take on this composition over the original actually, I love the difference of the details between the foreground and the midground, really adds to the distance! I find it so hard to achieve such! You did an amazing work Jos!
