This was my third ever (and also Bob Ross) painting. It was done on the cardboard stuff that comes with the Bob Ross starter kit. I got really frustrated with the snow at the end I’m the foreground because it wasn’t laying down right, so I ended up adding too much liquid white to it. I didn’t even attempt to add a cabin. Another Thing I really struggled with was the moon. I couldn’t get a cloud in front of it without totally ruining the moon. I’m not sure if this was because I painted it on cardboard but I do plan to give this painting another try at some point so we shall see how I fare on canvas. My plan for Halloween this year is to dress up as Bob Ross and do paintings in my front yard as truck-or-treaters come by (provided COVID-19 doesn’t prevent trick-or-treating this year, that is), and I really want to do this one since it has that nice dark, Halloween feel.
Thanks Tammy! I appreciate the positive reinforcement.
Winter moon is my second BR inspired painting.I love your water. Its glass like reflection.I could live in that forest and be very content.great evergreens.Cheers,P
Thanks Pietro! I gifted this to our security sergeant at work because he saw it and fell in love with it. I was pretty happy with how it turned out even though I ran out of room (small canvas) for the cabin. I plan to try this one again. I really love it.
