This is my fourth ever painting (also fourth Bob Ross painting). Gift for my dad for Father’s Day. The clouds were very frustrating! Does anyone know where I can get the blender brush he mentioned without having to buy a whole set of Bob Ross brand brushes? I looked at my local art store, they don’t have any Bob Ross brand stuff, and the blender brushes they had were synthetic. This was also my first try on an actual canvas, vs. the cardboard that comes with the Bob Ross starter kit.
P.s. the Ross Blender, 2'' W x 1-1/4'' L, can be found at dickblick.com.
Thank you! I will try that. I did finally find the Bob Ross blender and it arrived today so I might give it a go for next week’s painting. Thank you for your advice.

As much as I fought it, using one corner of Bob’s 2 inch brush really works to blend skies and clouds. For small canvases and tight areas I love the Princeton Select Natural Bristle Brush - Lunar Mop, Short Handle, Size 1/2''. You can purchase at Blick. The 1/4” is also my favorite for blending small areas. They clean up easily with odorless thinner. I’ve got a few of the Ross blenders but I seldom use them. The brush has extremely fine soft hair and the shape seems awkward and is harder to clean. I’d like them better if they were shorter and thicker. Hope this helps.
