This was a fun painting to do. I wet the canvas on the back with water constantly to keep the acrylic paint from drying too fast. The mountains in the back were an easy part to paint compared to other mountains. It is my daughters favourite.

Thank you so much VoyKay for those compliments. I tend to use too much paint on for the sky (hard to take off just like Bob says), this one I think I hit the correct amount, I am pleased with the soft sky colours too. The thought of painting with oil paints scares me right now ;) more for a professional artist..

Great depth in this painting and such delicate soft coloured sky again! I guess you would do amazing things with oil paints! Just a thought! :) :) :)
