My fourth painting, but actually the one that got me painting in the first place. I was looking for a Christmas gift for my 12-year-old goddaughter, and then I suddenly heard about Bob Ross. So I thought I'd give it a try. And here we are! We spent a wonderful afternoon together, I'll upload hers afterwards. Our paintings are very similar yet very different at the same time - or how doing exactly the same thing can have a totally different outcome.
Here again, the sky went well, the mountains could have more nuance, the reflections are nice and the trees as well, but the bushes remain a huge difficulty! Better than in my very first painting, but there's still a long way to go.
In the end, we decided to drop the bushes in the bottom right corner, because we felt the composition was nicer without them - less is more!
