Well this was nice. The underpainting really does wonders here, and the painting process is much faster because of it. I love painting trees, an I really like the mood in this one. I could still improve painting water. And the composition isn't the best because the waterfall is right in the centre of the painting and distracts from everything else. But all in all it's just great to paint.

I love your trees, especially the big one. You're right about the distraction, I noticed it before I read your description. I wonder if you could knock that back a bit by adding a little colour to the main fall. Making it less bright. It's probably just a bit on the bright side that's all. Love the dappled light, it brings the painting to life. Great job.
