Yesterday it was snowing and today there's a winter wonderland outside so I just had to paint a winter scene. I had it in mind to paint this one again for quite some time now, so today was finally the day. I love the brightness and warmth of the painting, even though it's a winter scene. I made the water yellowish to match the sky and added some (snowy) leaves to the trees. A nice and simple painting, even though I fiddled to death with some of the details. I really like the result, and as always was really happy to paint.

Thanks Shadow! I didn't want that tree to take too mouch attention, so I wanted it to be airy and light, somewhat transparent, and a contrast to the other two trees. But all in all, I just love painting trees 😇😉
