Superb scene from Bob! Love the layering in this one. The far light colored & misty bg vs. the beautiful foregrounds are just outstanding. I was able to sharpen my fan brush skills.
Looks like some trouts are making their way upstream while a predator is watching the action from above. π¦π
I had to redo the 2 right sided trees in the background as I was at that step. I have attached how I went about it. Oils are an amazing forgiving medium!
Super painting! Love all your details!
Oh Nancy! This one is so amazing!!! So very amazing! I love it. Love it.
Oh Nancy! This one is so amazing!!! So very amazing! I love it. Love it.
Thank you Tomi! I always overlooked this one. But as I was doing it, I felt in la deeper love at ever brush stroke.
Thank you super much Sandy!!! π
Many many thanks Bob!!! Really happy you like this one! π₯°
Good Morning, guten Morgen, Nancy . Super work. I like yours more than the original. Top levelππΌπ©πͺ
Bon Matin, Guten Morgen from here my friend! π©πͺβοΈ Thank you so much for that huge compliment. π₯° If you are playing π today, have lots of fun! π
Loving this one! <3
It's also still on my list to do.
Because Bob used the fanbrush a lot, creating different and rougher effects than he usually does with the 1-inch and such. I also love this scene for the colours and, apart from the bubbling stream, it also reminds me of the woods nearby.
Awesome! I love it overall.
So good as expected N! I love your add-ons, will you be adding colors to them now?
Great painting Nancy, cheers
Amazing job!
Thank you Titia! I always overlooked this one for some reasons. But it is such a beautiful scene from Bob. and yes, the roughness created by the fan brush, gives so much more realism to the compo. I will use it more in future paintings.
Can't you take a picture of the stream in the woods near by and create a similar scene with it?
Thank you Tom! π₯°
Thank you my friend B! You know what, I'll wait until the painting is dry (very easy to remove paint if a little mess happens) and I'll add colors to the add-ons. It was late when I finished this one and didn't want to mess up anything. But it would def help to see them, specially the predator, a lot better.
Thank you Dave! π
Many thx Cosmo!
