I am a 47 year old Texan living in Lubbock. I always wanted to paint my whole life but life always came first. After multiple back surgeries, it got to the point that i could no longer work. Then my injuries took away the love of my life, guitar. After fighting depression off for a few years, i mentioned to my wife, my desire to paint. She bought me a painting kit and gave it to me for Christmas 2022. The kit sat around until April of 2023 until i finally put brush to oil to canvas. Painting has literally saved my life. It brings me hope, joy, and an excitement for the future that were all lost to me. I love sharing my artwork and looking at others works of art. Thank you for having me here.
