I wanted to change scene so I went for this seascape. Boy I am not fast at those and the struggle was real. I never really like my seascape skies so this time, I took my sweet time to make my clouds similar to the bookβs (see attachment). I had too much color on my canvas so I couldnβt control my paint as I would have liked to. But I managed to get it done.
I really need to do more of those. I love painting them. I just donβt practice enough.
Very nice.
ahhh big wave!great stuff Nancy!
First I think this is a great painting. Second, I don't think we can do all things perfectly all the time. Repetition makes things easier. Seascapes are not your primary interest so don't be too hard on yourself. This really is very good.
Such a beautiful job! Love the eye of the wave, it's perfect! Love it!

You are so sweet Lc! Thank you much! π
This is a beauty Nancy, It would look great in a frame on the wall, the eye of the wave captivates the gaze and draws you into the painting, I can almost hear those hungry gulls!
Very cool!
AWWW! Thank you very much Niv! Your comments are always so awesome to read. You include a sensorial dimension to it. I love that!
