I haven’t done a lot of Bob Ross recreations recently. This one caught my attention due to the brown version Bob shows at the end of the episode. I really liked that version more than the original grey one.
So I painted this using burnt umber and white. I couldn’t resist to put a red door into the cabin at the end. I also put in a little fence just for fun.
I think this scenery (mountain, lake, evergreens and Cabot on the left bottom in winter) repeats 20 times in slight variations during the whole series. Not sure if I ever will do them all.
At the end it was nice to paint along with Bob and I love monochromatic pictures.
Oils on canvas panel 16 x 24 in.
Thank you Brian, same for me. Brown monochromatic paintings are my favorite ones.
You did a great job with this Tom. It looks entirely different, in a better way, from Bob's.
So only another 49 to go then? Tremendous work.
Thank you Tomi. I don’t try to follow Bob 100% in every painting. I am glad you like this one!
Thank you Colin, glad you like it!
