Bob’s ‘Blue Moon’ is the 4th last of my current exploration into miniature series for a coming Bundaberg Art Society Miniature Exhibition. It was inspired by a full moon photo taken recently over our local Kelly’s Beach and to me it fitted the broad theme of Bob’s painting, and that enabled me to paint a more photo-realistic painting. A more thorough sanding technique enabled me to pretty much eliminate the gesso brush marks. Painted in oil as an ~5x3” painting on 3mm Mdf board. Comments and suggestions welcome. Enjoy. Cheers
