I followed along with Bob, but I wanted it to resemble the Enchantments in WA state. The larches turn bright yellow and orange in the fall and it is very beautiful against the snow. I'm still having trouble with mixing mud, but whatever!

I think you'll have foliage down in no time. By the looks of your bushes, I think you have enough paint on the brush, but it looks like the paint needs to be a touch thinner so that it jumps right off the brush without you having to apply any pressure. Bob paints so fast that it looks like he's really pressing into the canvas when he does his foliage highlights, but it actually takes a fairly light touch.
