Having no previous painting experience, I was inspired to give it a try by watching old reruns of Bob Ross. I am now addicted to painting, not because of what final product is created, rather the joy and peace that is achieved throughout the process.

Using the wet-on-wet technique, I focus primarily on oil paints with the occasional experimentation of gessos. My favorite is to combine the two.

As I am still relatively new to this (painting for just over a year), I'm grateful for any comments, suggestions and insight that can help me improve and spark my imagination. Art is subjective and the value of each piece really is dictated by the viewer, not the creator. To that end, I'm just grateful that anyone would take time to see my work.
