I have been dabbling in acrylics this last week. Never painted with them before. This is really my 2nd painting using them. I think I prefer oils. I like the long, long dry times of the oils and the pace I can work at. The acrylics dry so fast I feel "rushed"
So enjoyable, that colour hopping! Specially those flower beds!
The bold colors are wonderful as well as the scene!
So much color! I love it.
I really love this! Especially the flowering tree and it’s shadow. The drying time of acrylics can be frustrating at first but the nice part is that it’s nearly impossible to mix mud. You can also get mediums to extend the drying time.
