This is my second Black River series painting. From a photo my wife took from her house across the river to the town of Parishville. Liquid clear with Phthalo Blue on black canvas.

far northern NY is quite beautiful. I'm from near Glacier National Park too and the Adirondacks are beautiful in a different way.

Very nice Bob. Tonawanda NY checking in (just south of Niagara Falls). I have fished in Black Lake several times Bob. My recently passed friend lived in Ogdensburg.

@TonyM my mother-in-law was born in. Oldenburg! My wife was born in Potsdam and the family moved to Pville in the 1960s where her father was a line man for 35 years. They’re still there and talk about how good the fishing was back then. My wife is a Clarkson ChemE grad and we now live in Minnesota. She’s heading back to Pville in a couple weeks to see her parents. They’re still around in thier late 80s now.
