This was from a Kevin Hill painting. But of course I am Still using some Bobs techniques when painting bushes. I’m having fun blending styles some work some don’t but it’s all in the process. One thing that’s helped me a lot is using the shop towel to pick up most the excess so you can apply highlight! I was A big mud mixer, but that tip has served me well. Let’s paint another one!!
As soon as I saw this I knew it was a Kevin Hill and you've done a great job. I too am a fan of using the paint damp rather than wet. Mixing Ross and Hill styles is a great idea, something I have been trying recently. I can see myself following a path somewhere between the two and see what happens. Justin Wozniak does it with great success.
