Painted on a 16 x 20 canvas. Based on Bob Ross's One Instructional Video titled Peace Offerings of Summer. I painted inside the silhouette of Bob Ross's Head which I is hand drawn and cut out of a peace of contact paper or self liner. I had to draw the silhouette in reverse so it would be correct on the other side of the contact paper. I used a utility knife to cut the shape out. The original ratio of vertical to horizontal dimensions of the silhouette were 6.5 in to 5 in and I just scaled up from there. I like how it turned out.
Very creative! , I like the depth and sort of ruddy / muddy snow i'm seeing. seamless wooded area as well (even without blowing it up with the highlights)
Love the BR cutout!
