Watercolor on paper | 9”x12” | I have been experimenting with different brushes to get different effects. I used a long flat for most of the washes and switched to a round and script liner for the foreground. I don’t generally love using a script liner brush, but I had fun with it on this one. As I was using it, I kept hearing Bob’s adage about how a shaky hand is actually best for painting trees.
