Oil on canvas | 8”x10” | Confession: up until this painting, I’ve been using the very cheap Artist’s Loft oil paints. I’ve been trying to “thicken” them by letting them sit on cardboard but I was finding that I was actually wasting paint that way, especially if I had some left on my palette when I was finished painting. I decided to take a step up and try Winsor & Newton Winton oils. I’m very pleased with the pigment load of these paints. I know they’re still student paints but they are much better than what I had been using.
Thank you!
