This episode is from the book ‚The Magic of Oil Painting II‘ by Bill.
Some spring scene with a nice spring sky, colorful meadows, sun shining through the trees throwing a shadow and a path leading to a far away village.
I thought this is a nice scene even there are no mountains. I’m quite happy with this one.

This one just feels like home. I really like the way you have done the path and clouds. Super work!
Very nice painting 👍🏼🇩🇪🇦🇹
Super impressive!
Super, I like the light and shadows created as well as the micro village!
Super painting! It feels so homey...love your details!
Absolutely love your trees!!
Wow! Striking!
Great distance Tom, and those clouds are pro level 👍
Nice job Tom. I have Vol I - IV of the Magic books. I should probably try one at some time LOL
Thank you Tomi.
Thanks Jim, I am glad you like it.
Many thanks Dirk, greetings to Germany!
Thank you Cosmo!
Thanks Brian, yes that far away houses are really neat.
Thank you Sandy!
Thank you Lc. Trees are done in Bill Alexander technique. I find they look more realistic.
Thank you Mata.
Thanks Niv. I also like the clouds a lot. They never came out too good so far, here I just let the brush do the job.
Thank you Tony. It took me a while to paint after Bills tutorials. At the beginning I thought Bobs are the better ones, but I totally changed my opinion recently. Bill has a more 'artistic' approach, i.e. he teaches more things to think about whereas Bob mainly tries to simplify things to get a, at the first look, better end result.
Very good work. When I first saw the image I couldn’t place it and then I realized you mentioned it was from his book. Great work. Nice cabins in the background as well :)
Thank you Daniel, I have done a lot of recreations after Bills books recently. I wanted to show something which hasn't been seen yet on YouTube. I am glad you like it.
