With completing this project I have only 2 more left from the book ‚The Art of Bill Alexander and Lowell Spears, Series 1‘.
Bill did several episodes with the redwood trees, but this particular one does not seem to be available at his YouTube Channel. Such scenes are also very suitable for acrylics in my opinion. I even think with acrylics they would be easier to create as a lot of layers are needed.
Nevertheless it was a nice project and a bit different from the mountain, trees and lake episodes.
This is oils on canvas panel, 20 x 16 inches (50 x 40 cm)

Soooo beautiful Tom! 😍 I remember you did the other redwoods one from Bill last year, Redwood Grove that I also painted from the book tutorial you had sent me. I might have to do this one too to get its little brother on canvas! Lol!
