⚠️ I will add the name of this pretty compo as soon as I get it from its author. 😊
The original of this beauty is actually a watercolor painting (see attachment). I saw it on Facebook and reached out Dale to have his permission to recreate it in oils. I got his blessings and painted it yesterday. I really wanted to keep its watercolor flavor. Doing monochrome is always so delightful. It teaches greatly on tones and values.
That's beautiful, I really like this one!!!
The water/ice looks like glass and absolutely frigid N! Beautiful ✌️
So gorgeous!
Very striking.
lovely Nancy!
Beautiful, so respectful to ask permission.... I really need to go to finishing school 😁
Top Level my friend 👍🏼🇩🇪
Beautiful
Many thanks Dee, LittleFishy, Sandy, Regan, P, Colin and my super friend Dirk 🇩🇪🇺🇸. Your comments really warm up my heart. 🥰
Thank you bunchy B! The icy & mirror water is the beauty of this one. What is mesmerizing me the most is to think on how Dale created this one. In watercolors, the white is an absence of paint. So, it has to be thoroughly thought beforehand. You can't erase the paint once on the paper. I have a lot of respect for watercolor artists.
Thank you Terry! I thought of asking him, like you say, by respect of this art. And it's also a way of letting him know how beautiful is his compo. 😊
