Finally back to oils!
Taking advantage of my decent weather to get some oils painting done in the garage.
I am really enjoying painting on the black canvases. The auroras are so much more vibrant now!
This is mostly me playing around. Any suggestions on how to make my auroras more interesting is appreciated
Lovely! I'd maybe keep a bit more black in the sky to help accentuate the beautiful colors of the aurora. But it's still lovely as is!

I really like the "fisheye" look (semi-circular outcome). The colors are beautiful. Great scene.
