This was a quick one. It took exactly the length of the Hammer film The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964), which is just 79 minutes. In fact, this might be my speed record, which of course, means I probably missed some opportunities that I'll notice in the future, but it's all good; I am just glad to paint.
I think I used the big fan brush for probably 90% of this painting. I don't recall the TV episode very well and I didn't bother to read the instructions in the book because I was moving fast, so I probably did some stuff wrong. I reckon there's nothing wrong with being wrong anyway!
I will also say, there are several really great versions of this painting done by the community. Consider checking them out, if you haven't already!
Dracula, awesome painting! It looks like your style but has lightness in it. I guess this is because of the speed. Fog turned out great! Distant trees are being dissolved in the distance. Colors are so nice and calm and trees on the right are detailed enough to show wild nature. Impression of moving water is awesomely done!
Always in awe of your work! Beautiful personal touches.

Very beautiful! Such realistic detail. Perfect highlights on the trees from the background glow.
