I try to only upload one painting a day so I don't become too annoying, lol. But I just finished this and wanted to share. I had wanted to do this one for quite a while. Probably because it poses so many challenges. One unexpected challenge was painting the evergreens over the thick background paint. Ended up needing to use the liquid black in order for it to stick and show up. Glad I finally got it done and was great practice in all of Bob's painting skills.

Beautyful this painting.
Great painting, and challenging with all the different elements in there. You would never know that you'd had problems with the evergreens, they turned out so well. Nothing wrong with using liquid black, I think it's a very under used product and could do much more. You probably applied a little bit too much paint on the under layers, it quickly builds up. But the clever part is finding a way round the problem, which you did, and very nice too.

I think the only thing annoying is when there is no new art being shared. This one is awesome. The title is very fitting for that mountain. What a specimen. Good job sir.
