Nic Hankins inspired me to paint this. I had wondered if I’d remember how to paint after not doing so for a couple of months. I do like the cheerful colors in this version.
A few days after painting this I heard about the article in The Daily Beast about Bob’s life and it has saddened me. In spite of it all I’m thankful we are able to access his work.
