I decided to make this a springtime scene. The Duck brand peel and stick shelf paper has made it feasible to attempt these ovals. 16x20

Great adaption of Bob's original. The oval shape really works here and I specially like those flower trees and their colouring!
Thanks Voy, they definitely stand out. I hadn’t attempted pink blooming trees and found them fairly simple.
You might have a go then at JIN7's mount Fuji (to be found in the Articles' section). The way you paint those flowers and mountains, that would be an interesting challenge.
