This was my 4th ever painting and suffice to say I bit off more than I could chew! A total disaster but I promised myself Iโd upload my paintings to here, warts and all.
Got so demoralised doing the mountains that I just slapped the rest on to get it over and done with. One to revisit some day as it is a lovely image - just not this version of it ๐
Thanks Felix. I learnt to walk away and come back to it if it isnโt going well. I also learnt to maybe dry out the brown oils on paper/card so they will hopefully break easier on the mountains. Iโve since practised adding bumps and small ridges to mountains, rather than just pointy triangles. So yes, guess it was worthwhile after all ๐
