The last few paintings I’ve done were really striking in composition and color, so I wanted to do something a bit more subdued and subtle. This is definitely one of the hardest ones I’ve done and there’s definitely things I’d change, but I’m really happy with the depth and the tone I was able to achieve :)

Wow, this is so enchanting. It certainly is subdued and misty in parts then the clarity of that foreground tree with its russet red leaves delights your eye. A perfect combination of both. And the stream is really pretty.
Those trees… wow, you keep getting better and better! Splendid colors and composition!

Lovely autumn colours in this. Always things to change in all of mine - but as Bob says by the time you fixed them all you could have done a whole other painting 😄
