River's Peace - s23e6

I really need to get better painting creeks, streams, small waterfalls, etc. I like the way this one turned out. I am not totally happy with the way I applied the white on the top of the water, we will continue to work at that :)

All in all, a really fun one to paint. It is amazing to me how much moving the horizon line even a bit changes the perspective of a painting. When trying to do your own version of a Bob painting, that is a very important aspect that is not always easy to achieve.

16" x 20" canvas. As always, your comments (especially suggestions) are desired and welcome.

This is incredible! Don’t change a thing!😃

Hey Tony , Fantastic work. Super color combination. Top👍🏼🇩🇪

Super job Tony, those foreground trees!

I think this has real character and wouldn’t change anything unless you are really unhappy about it. It depends what you are aiming for. If you want realism you could tone down the colours a bit but the bright colours remind me of some of the beautiful illustrations that you see in children’s books.

Nice painting. Love the variation of colors in the grass and trees.

So beautiful and love the colors!
