Under Pastel Skies - s28e3 - Version 2
I had so much fun painting this. I am convinced, that if Bob had more time in the episode, he would have added a big tree of some type on the right side of the painting, so I went ahead and added one in this version. I have attached Version 1 for reference.
The idea of this painting is you are standing on an overlook peering over the scene below. I did address the elements on my first version that did not adequately capture the feeling of being high up on the overlook.
As usual, the photo is not good. I swear, I am the world's worst photographer. 18" x 24" canvas. As always, your comments (especially suggestions) are desired and welcome.

The tree belongs! I really like the soft sky and the grassy bank, especially the cut-out part.
