As you can see, my version of Autumn Splendour ended up quite different from the original. I largely chose this painting because I wanted to try the 2 birch trees which are on the right in Bob's version. However, because mine was much more bushy and busy I didn't feel there was room. I didn't really liked the big tree in the foreground in the original and liked the openness and softness of the painting without it and so left it as is. As Bob would say, "It is your world so you decide what to paint". I used water-soluble oils for this painting.
Thank you Jeremiah.
