Most of the painting was done using charcoal brushes, especially the bushes and trees. The hills required a lot of blending to get the shade that I wanted. The background pine trees were done using an oil brush, and so were the reflections in the water (+blending). Since the colors of the foreground were too bright, I lowered the opacity of the colors.
Overall, I am happy with this painting because it looks a lot like Bob Ross's original, unlike some of the other paintings I have done.
Beautiful, I wonder how this would look if you did a non digital version, I mean if you could achieve the same effects by hand, may make for a great comparison?
