On canvas board 24x30 cm winton/vangogh oil paint. On black gesso with al.crimson as basic underground, but was Bob using liquid clear? However, the sky was not as red/yellow/orange as intended. First time I did not change the bushes into grass.
Ok Voy, I will try that, I used some Linseed oil and mixed it with the al. crimson,, maybe that was the reason not many red appeared in the sky.

I checked the video and he never mentions the liquid clear. It has been my experience though that a little will make life a lot easier, just before applying the transparent colours on the black gesso. I had success with that already.
Your sky is great and very artistic. Background trees and water reflections do stand out! GREAT!
