I like the color scheme and the foothills, which I think convey distance effectively, but the trees are cartoonish. I just don't do non-evergreens very well. I can't get a fine enough lines with the liner brush and the limbs are too wavy and goofy. In spite of the trees, I still kinda like it.

The scriptliner that I use and swear by is a Da Vinci 0, not a 00. Not even sure if you can buy an 00 within the Da Vinci brand.

You did finer lines on your painting 'Winter barn' though.
I have a Davinci 00 as scriptliner and in combination with paint thinner, this always gives me the finest of lines.
LOVE that colour scheme!
