My schedule was a little different this week so I only had 3.5 hours to complete this painting, which is very fast for me. In that respect I am quite happy. Not that there's a rush or anything, but I am trying to not overwork stuff.
Another cracking sky Dracula, which has a real sense of depth and movement especially on the left hand side.
About overworking: Once i got advise from my instructor not to use small brushes till the very end... I struggle to implement this advice... Another part of the advice was to have less details further away it is. This part at least I understand and try to implement better, but still quite bad with it.
I love how smooth your sky is in contrast with the detail in your mountains! The reflections pop wonderfully and the detail in the trees is fantastic!

Wonderful painting! I like that subtle clouds with golden glow in a pink part of the sky. Some of them exist on the blue too.
I saw video review of Rosemary brushes you mentioned the other day. They look nice and firm with oil painting. When I finish my new brushes I bought recently I will try to order from them.
