You did very well on the foliage and those trees are just awesome!
I think this is great forest, I like the trees in the background have three layers: 1) hints on the trees 2) gray trees as second layer 3) trees covered with the bark.
Nice depth achieved!

The background lends such mystery to this painting; I really like transition from soft background to sharp foreground. Good work!
