My seventh painting, and my first seascape! Found this so much easier and more relaxing than the last painting I did which was quite a challenge. The most difficult aspect of this painting was the three small waves in the foreground, I ended up having to scrape off the first one and redoing it. I also wish I blended more crimson into the blue at the beginning for a more lavender tone. I did really enjoy working on a black canvas, though. I used a lot less paint than usual. Overall this was a very enjoyable experience.

Thanks so much, HappyPaintings! I find painting water to be very satisfying, once you start to get that glassy/see-through effect it is very rewarding.
