The Magic of Fall

Nobody wanted to paint with me, so I went solo. Too much pink on ground for my liking and struggled with the paint always blending, couldn't differentiate background trees from foreground.

Voy Kay Conqueror of Challenges

Bushes and leaves are indeed a struggle at times. No worries, practice will always be a big help to you. This painting does look good, no worries!

The main tree is superb. However i suggest to let it dry for one week and add 1) cadmium yellow pure and 2) mix of yellow ochre + white but very gentle only from one the left side of almost each cluster of bunches with leaves to let the tree shine even more. I'd suggest to use smaller brush not to overdo it.
It will help to split from background trees.
Don't touch the tree on the right let the tree in the center be the main character here.
I think this pink-brown is wonderful on the ground it brings the fall feeling to the painting.
