Due to the good weather, my focus and attention was pointed at greenhouse and grocery garden the past 10 days so no time to play around with oils and brushes for Bob Ross. Today, I decided to stop working early and finish a painting I already prepared several weeks ago with black gesso. Was it the coffee, the almost stormy wind outside, the blinding sun in my study or the fact that Bob hardly cleaned one brush in his half an hour show? .... I don't know but this painting was finished in some 80 minutes, without even rushing a thing!! It looks difficult yet it's more easy then you might think. The only thing that hampered me all the times was to put dark colours on black gesso, making the added paint almost invisible. This one is fun to do, really!!
Canvas used was a 12"x16", hardest part is the sky blending (I messed up there!) and a little though to keep highlighting bushes and trees in different colours for contrast.

The more I looked at this, the worser it became so I decided to give it a new destination.
First, I thought to cover it up with black gesso and thus would have a new canvas to work with but since yesterday, I believe this horrible painting can be a horrible Halloween creation. I will start working on that really soon and upload it into the October 2020 Halloween event on this site.
Hopefully my efforts will be worth it!
