Southwest Serenity

Voy Kay 18 Feb 2020

Add an orange dinosaur from Nickelodeon and Bigbird from Sesame street and this painting will earn its true value. Canvas was a simple 12"x16" (my standard budget one) and painted this just under two hours. Sky was never easy, too much liquid white I'm afraid. Could have done the hills better if I hadn't used a wave brush. Same for the bushes were Bob decided it had to be white with a little blue in it. Wish I hadn't followed him there. The yucca trees were very fun to do, should try such trees more often! Speaking of trees, what was Bob' intention with the left tree? Needed some 20 seconds to fill up?? So far for my scene of 'Jurassic neverland'.
